MIDDLE SCHOOL: Sanford Middle School is a school committed to doing “whatever it takes” to provide a supportive and academically challenging experience. We consistently attract families who stay and become supportive members of our school community. Students loop with the same group of students and teachers throughout their three years at Sanford. Looping builds strong and caring "family" relationships within teams consisting of approximately 115 students and four teachers (English, math, science and social studies). Teachers and staff meet with parents, in home and at school, before the start of each school year. Arts, world language and music are an integral part of our curriculum with the goal of solid preparation for high school programs such as Roosevelt High School's International Baccalaureate program and South High School's Liberal Arts program.
