MIDDLE SCHOOL: Middle school students enjoy an intimate setting with sufficient teacher attention and support. They begin their day in advisory where community and positive relationship building is stressed. Students then embark on their 5-period learning journey via a combination four academic blocks and one specialist block. Students receive instruction in the core curricular areas such as reading, math, humanities and science. Your child will also have the opportunity to use computer technology in music and compiling research projects. Green Central also offers an extensive array of extended-day and after-school programs. We have a working relationship with the Legal Rights Center and tutoring through the Area Learning Center. Middle grade students can also become a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
EXTENDED-DAY ACTIVITIES: Community Education classes, Central Gym Park Board programs
