Special Education

Minneapolis Public Schools offers a wide range of special education programs and services. Students who qualify for special education services receive an educational program and support services based on their individual needs, with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) developed for each student. Programs and services are provided to students beginning at birth through completion of a secondary education program or age 21. Special education services are also available for students attending non-public schools.
