MIDDLE SCHOOL: Olson Middle School is a Professional Practice School. Students wear uniforms to reinforce the professional practice atmosphere. Students loop and stay with the same teachers one year to the next. High rigor core subjects are English, math, algebra, social studies and science. Students rotate through electives: physical education, Project Lead The Way, art, READ 180, music, swimming, and Spanish. All students have a daily reading class at the start of each day. Our halls are orderly because there are no bells and students move with their teachers from class to class. We encourage active parent participation in student learning.

EXTENDED-DAY ACTIVITIES: Athletics: (football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball), swimming, music, student council, chess club, team academic assistance to students, glee club, Math Mania, book club, on-line math, Boys & Girls Club.
